I can’t wait to share the exciting news. After 5+ years I am rebranding my podcast. I will no longer be calling my podcast “Mornings with Monette.” I have loved each and every week, talking to you about different topics, with my main focus on personal development and self-improvement from a biblical perspective. I feel my strongest message with my podcast (and, therefore, these posts) was to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. I wanted you to experience the same passion and joy I was finding for myself by doing this very thing. For me, creating the podcast from scratch, while I had no idea how to do it, and getting it launched was a new thing. It pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I was terrible, but I appreciate all who showed up and continued to listen as I improved. From doing something that really scared me, not knowing if anyone would listen, and now almost 20,000 downloads later with 285 episodes–and expanding my reach through these blog posts. I can’t tell you how much it has changed me!
Over the years, I have shared so many personal stories about my own life, good and bad, to help illustrate some point I was making. We got through COVID together. I’ve had the privilege to share my Christian faith and share with you scriptures and how the Bible’s truths and being in the word (which is my main inspiration and the values I live by) that would encourage you to do the same. I’ve shared so many helpful books that I’ve been fortunate enough to read, and inspirational podcasts I’ve listened to, and mentors I’ve had who have been life changing. What drove me to do this was a success principle I learned early in my life, that you are the books you read and the people you associate with.
I did so many different series. I did a full series of podcast episodes on “How I sold books door-to-door as a broke college student to put myself through college. I did a series on creating my own personal life blueprint and how you should use those ideas to create one for yourself. I will tell you, like I shared on a podcast I was interviewed on, when I was asked what podcast series was I most proud of, I was able to say without a doubt it was my series on marriage. I felt I was speaking from the heart, it came very easily for me to talk on a topic I feel very passionate about. Marriage is God’s plan for us and outside of our personal relationship with Jesus Christ our next most important and valued relationship is our marriage. I’m sharing all of this with you to lead up to this moment because my new branded podcast and reveal is …here it is….drum roll, I’m proud to announce…
The rebrand of my podcast is…
“ Miracle Marriage Makeover— Rebuild Intimacy and Connection with Your Spouse in the Empty Nest”
What you can expect:
Build connection, intimacy, desire, romance, and improve sex drive for the empty nester.
Who it’s for:
You’ve raised your kids—now it’s time to rebuild your marriage. Welcome to Miracle Marriage Makeover, my rebranded podcast (and blog posts) is for Christian empty nesters ready to deepen intimacy, spark connection, and bring back joy and desire with their spouse. Through faith, mindset shifts, and practical strategies, I’ll help you reignite romance and rediscover the miracle still waiting for you in your marriage. Roommates to Soulmates!
How does it sound? I hope you’re as excited as I am! I have been praying and asking God: “Show me who I can help Lord? What direction do you want me to take my podcast? What have you been preparing me for? Where can I make an impact for you?” God revealed to me the answer. He took me back to a time when I was sitting on my back porch, numb after my sister-in-law, my mother-in-law and my own mom had all died within a few short months of each other. My youngest daughter had just left for college. I felt pretty hopeless. Our house was full of the stuff we had brought to our house after cleaning out my mother-in-law’s and my mom’s home. I felt sadness, grief and overwhelm. My marriage was fine, but nothing great. Have you ever been in this place, or are you in this place?
This was when God showed me that he has been preparing me for “such a time as this.”
“Monette you are going to rebrand your podcast and help woman create a marriage that is going to be beyond their wildest dreams,”—just like he’s done for me! I’ve experienced a miracle in my own marriage and now he has shown me: “I want you to help other women experience a miracle in their marriage.” My new adventure will start with my podcast, creating a Facebook group, a community where we come together to encourage one another, realizing we are not alone. We can share email addresses so we can communicate with one another, and I will be offering coaching. I’m so excited to be at this place and happy you’re with me!
That’s my story. God preformed a miracle in my marriage and that is what I want for you, I know it’s possible. Not because I have a perfect marriage, I’m just like you, at times it has been messy and complicated—because that is marriage! I’ll be sharing these stories and many more in future episodes/posts. As I am working on this topic, my husband and I are in our 35th year of marriage. This renewed focus is for the woman who is right where I was, the kids are on their own, her marriage is fine. But her heart wishes she could go back to when she was first married, when she was so madly in love. But now she has settled to be comfortable with each other, you’re in your routines and habits but there is no spark. You and your husband are basically roommates. You miss the connection, the passion, the fun. Well buckle up, it doesn’t have to be this way. There are miracles you can’t even imagine. I’m so glad you’re here! I’m so excited you’re a part of my rebrand!
My focus again will be on the woman who is heading to be an empty nester or has been in this place for a while. She wants so much more. She believes it’s possible, she’s just not sure how to rekindle the connection and passion.
The one thing I want you to do; your call to action is to share my podcast/posts with that woman that is in this place of wanting more from her marriage. The new name of my podcast is “Miracle Marriage Makeover.” If you are that person, stay tuned. You’re going to love the direction of the new podcast/posts!

Monette,
I love this and need this! My husband and I had our only child at ages 44 and 46 respectively… He is a junior in college now and we are still grieving but getting better… We are truly trying to rediscover what to do and where to go because we felt like we had lived almost an entire life before he came into our lives… We know we are still in a transition and that while he is a college student, he still needs us and our guidance as he establishes his way…I am excited to see what you bring to us.
TNANK YOU!
